It was made for the Mayfest Festival in 1991. It is famous for its unique acoustic qualities. Thousands of people flock here each year to see the sculpture and experience its cool echo effect.

The Center of the Universe, located on the Main Street Bridge, is a small tourist attraction. The brick circle is only thirty inches in diameter, but people standing within the circle can hear their own voices echoed louder than those outside. This is due to the unique acoustic effect of concrete benches and walls within the circle.

FAQ

How much luggage should I take with me?

The length of your trip determines how much luggage you should take. For a flight, hand baggage is not necessary, typically less than 20 kg. However, if you are taking a train or bus, then you will need more space.

An airport form with information regarding your flight will be handed to you upon arrival. This will include information like the weight of your bag and whether you need assistance in checking them in.

This should be checked before you leave home. You might find yourself stuck waiting in line for hours as everyone else inspects their luggage.

It is best to travel light because you never know what might happen. It is possible to lose your bag and not have something to wear.

What documents should you keep with me when I travel?

Keep copies of important documents in your car for quick access when on the go. If you plan on using an ATM machine, you may want to keep a copy of your passport, driver’s license and other official identification cards.

It's always a good idea to carry a photocopy of your passport with you so it can be used as proof of identity if needed.

Don't forget to attach copies of your itinerary or reservations. These will help you to remember where you are and what you want to see.

You should also keep a copy your hotel reservation and flight ticket details. You can contact your family back home easily if you are in trouble.

Finally, it's always a good idea not to leave anything valuable unattended. Your valuables will be safe if you keep them in a money belt, or inside your luggage.

Check your bag before you go to prevent losing expensive items.

Remember: It's safer not to plan too much than to keep everything simple.

Relax and enjoy your trip!

Are you worried about losing something while you're on the road?

Yes, I often forget stuff. This is more common when I go on a short trip. But I have everything with I, so I never run low.

My passport is one example. I also make sure to have enough money for any purchase of tickets.

I also always have my phone charger with me. For other items, I carry a small bag.

What should you bring on vacation?

You need to know what you want to do on your holiday. It's not just about packing clothes. Consider where you're going and how much time you'll be staying there.

You need to think about what activities you would like to participate in. If you plan to visit exotic locations, you might consider scuba diving. You may also be interested in participating in local festivals and events, especially if your stay is longer.

You should let the people who are going to be caring for you know if you have any medical issues.
